As the new year kicks off, the Midlands Area Judo scene is set ablaze with two exciting competitions on January 27, 2024. The Midlands Area Open, held at the Walsall Sports Centre, WLV Gym, The University of Wolverhampton, promises a fierce display of skill and sportsmanship. Simultaneously, the Midlands Area Schools competition, taking place at the same venue, provides a platform for young talents to showcase their judo prowess.

On February 3, 2024, the Kingsbury Sports & Community Centre in Tamworth becomes the battleground for the Southfields Area Open. Judo enthusiasts can anticipate high-level competition in this event.
Moving forward, the East Midlands Area presents a closed event on February 4, 2024, at the Cedars Judo Club, Heath Lane Academy, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
February: English Open – A Grand Judo Spectacle in London
Get ready for a judo extravaganza at the English Open on February 24-25, 2024. SportsDock, University of East London, will host this prestigious event, bringing together judo enthusiasts from all over.
March: British Schools Championships
March 9-10, 2024, marks the pinnacle of school-level judo competition with the British Schools Championships. Taking place at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, this event promises intense action as young judokas battle for supremacy.
