As a club, we have seen significant growth and developed a great team of players, with a lot of our players moving out of the lower groups and into higher divisions. Lots of competitions lined up for players of all abilities, whether it’s local ones for less experienced players or National events for our more experienced players.
After the success of last year, the club goes into the new season with great excitement and potential. We had our first experience of international competitions last year and will look to build on that with our team
We have players after winning everything in the Minors division in 22/23 looking to make the step up into the Pre-Cadet category and challenge themselves on the bigger stage against more experienced Judoka, I’m sure the transition will provide a great test but I’m sure they are up for the challenge
We have players who have settled in their first year of Cadet competitions and looking to make great steps forward and climb the divisions ranking tables and work towards the ultimate goal of the coveted Dan Grade
This leads me nicely onto the club’s first promoted Dan grades, well done to both Jeevan and Will who have passed the grades and this year will be working hard to win points for their next promotion.
Looking forward to the start of this new season, Good luck guys
